Gamma-Rho Zeta Lambda Chi Excels at the University of Oklahoma Gamma-Rho Zeta Leads Campus T he Lambda Chi Alpha Chapter at the University of Oklahoma is remaining the light of the fraternity world as the fall semester starts. With a brand new house and a great fall associate class, the men of Gamma-Rho Zeta are very excited to set the bar on what being a Lambda Chi means. Undergraduates Excel Academically Last spring, our freshman class ranked fourth in academics with a 3.05 GPA; as a Chapter we placed third with a cumulative GPA of 3.17. We're so excited to see how the freshman class develops and to mold the incoming men into a group that understands and practices our values. Lambda Chi Leadership The upperclassmen of our Chapter are continuing to uphold the values of Lambda Chi in all that they do. Our leadership on campus shines brighter than ever as members of Lambda Chi hold key offices across campus. We currently hold the offices of OU IFC president, CAC chair, student body president, College Bowl chair, Big Event chair, OU Cousins student Welcome, New Members Graham Davis Deer Creek, Okla. Brandon Elliot Tulsa, Okla. director, Camp Crimson orientation guide and operations staff, and many more positions that elevate us above every other fraternity. Cole Wasemiller Edmond, Okla. Philanthropic Efforts We are planning to hold our philanthropic basketball tournament, Swishes for Wishes, later this fall semester. Garrett Sutton, GR 2483, has taken the lead and already started with this year's programming. Chapter Officers Renovation a Success Finally, the house renovation is fantastic; the grand opening is October 26, during Homecoming weekend. We are very appreciative to all alumni whom have donated, and we are confident this will put us even further above the other Chapters on campus. We encourage alumni to tour the completed renovations and hope this will create excitement in reconnecting alumni with Gamma-Rho Zeta.
