The fraternity continues to thrive with your support, and the undergraduate members have made great strides to further increase the chapter's presence on campus. W Chapter Looks to Recruit Largest Pledge Class in Zeta Sigma History Zeta Sigma continues to be one of the strongest fraternities in recruitment at Texas A&M. We had a very successful summer recruitment, including dinners, a river trip, and a barge trip on Lake Conroe. The chapter has been able to enhance its recruitment endeavors after voting to increase membership dues in the previous semester. We were able to host The Turnpike Troubadours at Fajitas & Ritas, the chapter's annual fall recruitment party. A new development in our new member program is the addition of a pledge class retreat to build brotherhood. "New member development is and always has been a fundamental part of maintaining the firm character of Aggie Delts. I look forward to the most promising initiate class Zeta Sigma has ever had," said Pledge Educator Britton Eastburn '15. 2.91, as well as the all-undergraduate men's average of 2.94. Our second-annual fall Parent's Weekend and Golf Scramble fundraiser will be held the weekend of November 2. In return for their continued support and dedication, Zeta Sigma makes it a priority to maintain a strong bond with parents. We hope that this newsletter finds you well and provides encouragement to stay involved with the chapter. "We had a great core group of men who I believe really helped Zeta Sigma navigate some challenging times and made some incredible improvements to the chapter. Being a very small part of what I believe was a chapter transformation was something special," he said. One of his proudest accomplishments as an undergraduate was locating the current Delta Tau Delta house and helping secure funding for the purchase. "We were also fortunate to have people like Charles Mallery, Sam Houston State '59, as great supporters of Zeta Sigma. He helped keep the chapter focused and was a wonderful resource and great friend during my time at A&M." produced some incredible memories. However, we knew in order to take the chapter to the next level, we needed a Shelter we could all be proud of. When we secured the current Delt house, it lent credibility to the chapter, boosted morale, and enhanced recruitment efforts." After graduating with his bachelor's in accounting and a master's in finance, Levi went to work at The White House and for President George W. Bush. He currently serves as vice president of finance and administrative operations for a non-profit behavioral health care organization in Los Angeles, and recently served as interim president and CEO. "After my time in Zeta Sigma, I have been fortunate to work in organizations and communities with missions focused on positively impacting the lives of others. Working alongside such incredibly engaged, dedicated, and selfless teams has been a very powerful and inspirational experience," he said. Levi believes it is the duty of all alumni to support the chapter. "Delt alumni should stay engaged and support the organization in whatever way they can. Zeta Sigma has a great reputation for helping produce successful leaders, and there is little doubt that trend will continue. I believe we all want the Delt house to remain vibrant and strong, and for that to be possible, we all need to stay active, engaged, and provide time." Living in the previous Delt Shelter, Levi has fond memories of the brotherhood that was evident in the house. "Living in the old farm house Page 2 Levi stays in touch with many of his Delt brothers and encourages alumni to stay active and engaged in the chapter as much as possible. "I believe Delta Tau Delta can and should be a premiere fraternity for years to come. The active members obviously play a large role in the success of Zeta Sigma, but alumni support is key to ensuring our ability to thrive."
