BROUGHTON SHEBOYGAN MARSH PARK & OBSERVATION TOWER 7039W County Road S R, Elkhart Lake A recreational haven for outdoor enthusiasts, this 30-acre park offers a playground, picnic areas, foot golf, disc golf, and fishing piers. County snowmobile trails run through the Marsh, connecting to the 228-mile county trail system. The park also features Wisconsin's tallest wooden observation tower, standing 80 feet tall, providing breathtaking views of the landscape, waterways, and wildlife. GREENBUSH RECREATION AREA TRAILS N5854 Kettle Moraine Drive, Glenbeulah Just a few miles from Elkhart Lake, Greenbush recreation area has two trail systems: Four loops of challenging mountain bike trails interwoven with five loops of hiking trails. In winter the hiking trails are groomed for cross-country skiing and night skiing. The bike trails are excellent for winter hiking and snowshoeing. ICE AGE TRAIL - LABUDDE CREEK SEGMENT Trailheads: 8673-8695 Ridge Creek Rd, Elkhart Lake W5695 County Road A, Elkhart Lake The Ice Age Scenic Trail meanders through the Kettle Moraine State Forest, highlighting glacial features like the 4-mile Parnell Esker, offering stunning views of Butler Lake; the Greenbush Kettle, a perfectly symmetrical depression; and the Dundee Kame, a striking conical hill. The 3.35-mile LaBudde Creek Segment, with gentle hills and easy rollers, is a favorite among hikers visiting Elkhart Lake. JUNE VOLLRATH ATHLETIC PARK 290 N Lincoln Street, Elkhart Lake Just north of Elkhart Lake on State Highway 67 is the fitness trail at June Vollrath Park. The trail is open to the public and loops through the park's forested area.
