KETTLE MORAINE SCENIC DRIVE
Experience the beauty, variety, and geology
of the Kettle Moraine State Forest on this
scenic 31-mile drive. Starting near Elkhart
Lake, the route stretches to Whitewater
Lake, with plenty of spots to explore along
the way. A detailed handout of the drive is
available at all State Forest Offices.
OLD PLANK ROAD TRAIL

The 21-mile trail runs parallel to State Hwy
23 from Sheboygan west to the county line,
featuring terrain that ranges from flat to
gently rolling, with one significant climb or
descent near County Highway S, just east of
Greenbush. In 2021, the trail was extended
4.4 miles to connect seamlessly with Fond
du Lac County's portion, which continues to
the City of Fond du Lac. The trail is popular
with cyclists, walkers, joggers, mopeds, and
snowmobilers during the winter months.

4-mile, 14-turn road course. You can explore
cross-country trails, service roads, and the
track itself. Enjoy the full 640-acre facility
in a safe, traffic-free environment. 4 Miles
of Fitness is open Monday and Wednesday
evenings from 6–8PM, May through

ROCKY KNOLL HIKING & MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL

This 5-mile mountain biking and hiking
trail is a new addition to the recreational
offerings in Elkhart Lake. Located on the
scenic 62-acre Rocky Knoll Health Center
Campus, this trail serves as a base with
exciting improvements on the way.
