B rother Thomas, you always made us do the hard things first, which made our successes more tenable than we realized. You have never been a "parent" to your brothers—you were simply our brother. You've allowed us to search and find our way with just enough guidance that our tee shots weren't out of bounds but recoverable mistakes. This allowed us to grow into a premier student organization and made excellence possible and repeatable. You have been a remarkable leader of Virginia Kappa for decades and an inspiration to all who have stayed engaged with our beloved Fraternity. You have exemplified what it truly means to be a SigEp man and a powerfully positive influence in our lives. We are standing in a beautiful place that has YOU as a cornerstone of healthy relationships, deep personal connection, and positive growth. This Chapter House that you helped create is an environment where all our brothers can reach their full capacity and capability. A wave of gratitude washes over us all, reflecting on the invaluable guidance and mentorship you have imparted to us over the years. Life waits for nobody; you guided us to keep pushing the rock up the hill and keep moving on in the direction of our collective vision. Your leadership style, characterized by empathy, unwavering standards, and profound values, has not only shaped our journey but also left an indelible mark on our personal growth. Your ability to lead with both compassion and a commitment to excellence has been nothing short of inspiring. We have always admired the way you navigate challenges with grace and integrity, setting a benchmark for the rest of us to follow. Your decision to pass the torch to the next generation is a testament to your selflessness and belief in nurturing new leaders. As you gracefully transition into a new season of leadership, please know that your legacy will continue to resonate within the hearts and minds of all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with you. Your leadership is a beacon of light, guiding us through turbulent waters and illuminating the path to success. We are honored to have been mentored by someone of your caliber, and we are eternally grateful for the wisdom and knowledge you have shared with us. Your contribution to our growth, both as a collective brotherhood and personally, is immeasurable. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything you have done for us and for being a shining example of leadership, empathy, and integrity. Your impact will endure far beyond your tenure, serving as a guiding light for generations to come. With deepest respect and appreciation, we want to express our collective gratitude for all you have done and will continue to do for our brothers as well as the legacy you leave. Bill, we are proud to call you our brother and we love you. For the first time in program history, all executive officers were given the opportunity to attend Carlson Leadership Academy with a specialized track for their position. This program, held in multiple cities across the country, gives new officers a boost of personal leadership development. It focuses on teaching the skills to help them inspire brothers, manage a committee and follow through on those goals.
