At SigEp's landmark leadership program, they spent five days learning leadership principles and how to lead and inspire positive change in their chapters and beyond. Graduating senior Ethan Cassidy '24 shared that his favorite SigEp memory was attending the Ruck Leadership Institute, where he interacted with brothers from across the country and learned more about himself as a leader and brother. He created lasting friendships that are still active to this day and gained mentors that continued to provide guidance along his journey through college. Thanks to the generosity of alumni and donors, brothers like Ethan create actionable takeaways to lead their chapters and grow as individuals for years to come. C ollege men spend 90 percent of their time outside the classroom. This means the majority of their college experience has nothing to do with what they are learning behind a desk and everything to do with what they are learning in the world around them. Mental health, academic performance, relationships, and professional preparedness are all common issues men are faced with when they step foot on campus. These are issues that no one is meant to face alone. From lifelong friendships to professional preparedness and from developing us as leaders to fostering a mindset for service, SigEp is providing a member experience focused on changing the lives of the young men that choose to spend their 90 percent with SigEp.
