Register at www.parkerfun.com The 46th Annual Parker Tube Float will be held on Saturday June 8, 2024. Online Pre-Registration is now open and will close at midnight June 2, 2024. The 46th Annual Parker Tube Float registration will be at La Paz County Park from 8 A.M to 12 P.M with the fl oat ending at 5 P.M. (NO-WAKE ZONE EXPIRES). Park at La Paz County Park ($10.00 parking fee) and we will shuttle you to Buckskin Mountain State Park where the start- ing line is. The last bus will leave La Paz County Park shortly after regis- tration closes at 12 P.M. Buckskin Mountain State Park will have air compressors available to infl ate your fl oats and get ready to launch. Ice will also be available for purchase at both La Paz County Park and Buckskin Mountain State Park. Once you are ready you will enter the beautiful Colorado River you can enjoy beautiful scenery and will pass a few bars and restaurants as you fl oat down to the fi nish line at La Paz County Park/Pirate's Den Resort lo- cated where you originally parked. We strongly suggest you pre-regis- ter as it is $30.00 per person. Once pre-registration closes the fee is $40.00 per person if you register the morning of the event. An additional fee of $30.00 is required if you will be using a motorized vessel to assist your fl oating group. The fi rst 300 registered will receive a free event tank top. This free event will be held at the Quartzsite Senior Center, lo- cated at 40 S. Moon Mountain Ave. You can ask questions about leases, managers, owners, evictions, dimin- ished amenties and services, time limits for notices to vacate, park rules, discrimination, mail delivery, and much more. We will be answer- ing questions and empowering you with actions you can take according to the AZ RV ACT at www.azleg.gov/ arstitle Title 33 Chapter 19. Anyone who owns a recreational ve- hicle in an RV park, such as a fi fth wheel, trailer, motorhome, or park model, AND has resided there for more than 180 consecutive days is protected by the laws that AAMHO (Arizona Association of Manufac- tured Home Owners) helped pass. AAMHO, our only liaison to the Ar- izona legislature, recently got a law passed to protect seniors in manu- factured housing from heat-related deaths. They are also working on rent caps for seniors, mandatory training for managers, and criminal background checks for RV park staff.
