Huge turnout for AAMHO RV tenants rights meeting in Quartzsite on April 29th, 2024,
explaining Arizona State rights of renters in mobile home / RV parks. The Recreational
Vehicle Long-Term Rental Space Act (A.R.S. Title 33, Chapter 19) or "RV Act" is the Ar-
izona state law that says what the legal duties and rights of the landlord and the tenant
are when the tenant owns their own recreational vehicle (motorhome, camping trailer,
travel trailer, or portable truck camper), park trailer, or park model and is renting a lot
space in a recreational vehicle park or mobile home park under a rental agreement of at
least 180 days (six months). Learn more at https://aamho.org/

Angela Haupt is a health and well-
ness editor at TIME covering happiness and actionable
ways to live well. She said in an article in 2023, "There's
a sense, once a whisper, that's growing louder every day.
Glaciers are melting; children are being slaughtered; ha-
tred runs rampant. Sometimes it feels like the world's
approaching a nadir. Or like you are." "Hope is a way of
thinking," says Chan Hellman, a psychologist who's the
founding director of the Hope Research Center at the Uni-
versity of Oklahoma. "We know it can be taught; we know
it can be nurtured. It's not something you either have or
don't have." The opposite of hope, therefore, is not pessi-
mism, but rather apathy, with its loss of motivation. And
while wishing is passive, hope is about taking action.
Hellman points out, "Hope begets hope, and it has such a
signifi cant protective factor."Hellman and other experts
offers strategies that can help cultivate hope—even when
it feels unattainable.
1. First, give yourself permission to be hopeful.
2. Set at least one meaningful goal.
3. Brainstorm solutions.
4. Call your support team.
5. Seek out success stories.
6. Tap into your imagination.
