"It's so nice – it's like a hotel, the rooms are so big and comfortable," Rebekah says. As a first time mom, Rebekah was prepared for Lukah's arrival after taking childbirth education courses offered through Rutherford Regional. "Dr. Godfrey was great, and both he and Dr. DeLaGarza explained step by step what was happening after Lukah was born. And the staff was so attentive – we didn't have to wait for anything we needed." The great care continued after the family returned home. "I had a few problems after we got home and the staff was always quick to call me back. Our home visit with Lucy (Calhoun, childbirth and women's health coordinator) was wonderful too – it was nice to not have to take Lukah out to be checked after she was first born."
