More than 80 Undergraduate Brothers are living in 1540 Louisiana Street this academic
year: 27 juniors, 27 sophomores, and 29 freshmen. In addition, 19 seniors remain actively
involved while living out of the house and three Undergraduates are studying abroad this
fall, but all plan to live in next spring.
Undergraduate and Graduate Brothers alike teamed up during National Hazing
Prevention Week in September to win the fraternity-wide competition to pledge to
Have Courage Against Hazing. You can still sign the pledge at

Recruitment signed 29 new members during spring and summer 2023; the Chapter initiated
them all in early September.
On the Fraternity's Giving Day last May, Pi Deuteron ranked third in number of donors
at 34 and sixth in total dollars with $6,275. Review the Chapter's strong showing at

Pi Deuteron renewed its scholarship dinner tradition in the spring. Jerry Anderson '81,
dean of the Drake University School of Law, spoke at the dinner last April.
Scott Mullen, M.D. '02, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with KU's Sports Medicine
and Performance Center and a team physician for the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City
Royals, and KU Athletics, plans to speak at the dinner scheduled for April 5
th
, 2024.
Pi Deuteron is more than halfway through its suspension and remains on track to regain
recognition as a University of Kansas Student Organization going into the fall 2025
semester. Undergraduates, with advice and guidance from more than 30 Graduates, have
made significant progress in rebuilding our reputation with the university over the last two
years, but there's more work to do.
