M ark your calendars for the second annual Elks Club Missouri Alpha Bash on January 6, 2024! We look forward to another great event by Vern Smith '73. Elks Club Missouri Alpha BASH BASH O ur Balanced Man Scholarship attracts extremely talented young men and provides a great pool of prospective new members. Here's a brief summary of this year's impressive scholarship winners: Meet This Year's Balanced Man Winners Meet This Year's Balanced Man Winners Josh Plessner '26 is an animal science major from O'Fallon, Missouri. He has a GPA of 4.0 and left CBC High School with a GPA of 4.4. At CBC, Josh played volleyball for four years and was in the Honors Program and the National Honors Society. At Mizzou, Josh is playing club volleyball, is a pre-veterinary scholar, and is a member of the Pre-Vet Club and the MU Wildlife Society. SigEp status: Joined. Isaac Cyr '26 is from St. Charles, Missouri. He also attended CBC High School. There, Isaac held a GPA of 4.3 and was part of the Leadership Program, National Honors Society, and captain of their state championship football team. From there, Isaac attended Illinois College for a year, where he played football before transferring to Mizzou. He is now a part of the MU Investment Group and is dual majoring in economics and finance. SigEp status: Joined. Bhushan Sreekrishnavilas '27 is a freshman from St. Louis, Missouri, majoring in computer science. At Lafayette High School, Bhushan maintained a GPA of 4.0 and earned an ACT score of 35. He was captain of his mock trial team and was a four-time president of his high school class. Bhushan also led club-based fundraisers for local charities, interned with SLU's College of Engineering, and was listed as an AP Scholar with Distinction for 2022. SigEp status: close to joining!
