orty alumni from the '60s, and many
of their significant others, convened
in Columbia the weekend of September 8.
Together, they shared memories, saw the
campus and house, remembered those no
longer with us, and celebrated with each other.
W E E K E N D A C T I V I T I E S
Friday's activities included a welcome
reception and campus tour hosted by
university officials, dinner at 405 Kentucky
with addresses from SigEp undergraduate
and alumni leaders, and another from the
University of Missouri president.
Saturday morning's eulogy was a moving
tribute to the many brothers from the decade
no longer with us, then a perfect-weather day
played host to a tailgate party at the house
followed by a Tigers game at Memorial
Stadium. Both evenings ended with a party and
trivia night at the hotel hospitality suite.
Kudos to Denny Bond '69 for a year of
laboring in organizing this special event—
the first visit to Columbia by many of these
brothers in 60 years!
