Eleven Eleven Report Gamma Tau Chapter of Delta Tau Delta university of kansas n Fall 2023 H ello, Brothers! From a new pledge class to an alumni golf tournament and Shelter tailgates for our amazing Jayhawk football team, it's been another busy fall at Gamma Tau. Read all the updates in this issue of Eleven Eleven Report. First and foremost, we want to welcome 30 fine new members. The Shelter is full, and the men are doing great things on campus and in the community. (Be sure to read the chapter report on page 3 to see their great work!) September 16 was a gorgeous fall day for our alumni golf tournament. This year's tourney was held at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence and the course, alumni, and collegians all did a great job hosting. Thank you to all who attended—the tourney raised $10,000 to support the freshman scholarship fund! Find more pictures at flic.kr/s/aHBqjAWk4i (or use the QR code below). As always, Lawrence golf courses have limited weekend events, so we feel fortunate we were able to have it in town. Thanks to this event's success at Eagle Bend, we were able to book them for April 27, 2024. This puts us back on our historical spring schedule, which I know most of you prefer! Like in past years, this tourney will be the anchor event of a larger April Kansas Delts Alumni Weekend (with activities for both golfers and non-golfers)—please save the date! The tailgates at the Shelter have been a huge success this year! The guys have done a great job hosting, and having a strong football team doesn't hurt. It's been a popular place on Saturdays, so please come by when you're back in Lawrence for a game. I look forward to seeing you soon at the Shelter!
