"We understand the value of do- nations from the Town to support local activities and it is our hope that the Town Economic Community Outreach Funding procedures will provide a fair process by which all non-profi t organizations will receive timely and equal consideration. The Quartzsite Roadrunners Gem & Mineral Club (QRGMC) opens soon! Our fi rst meeting will be held at the QIA (235 E Ironwood) Thursday, October 26th at 2pm. Everyone is invited to the meetings to learn about all the exciting classes & activities we offer to our members. Membership dues are still only $20 for the season. Our skilled volunteer instructors teach lapidary, silversmithing, faceting, wire wrapping, beading, opals, leatherwork, knife making, fl int knapping, glass bead making, glass fusing, pine needle basket making, & more. Funding for non-profits The newly formed Quartzsite Business League, Inc. is a non-profi t orga- nization formed by a several local businesses to serve the Quartzsite small businesses. We are a leading supporter of our business community and a viable and trusted resource for our business partners. Our purpose is to create a solid organization which can work together to make our member businesses strong, independent, and successful. It is our belief that prosperous, well-run businesses are good for the community. We intend to provide: · Networking among the membership and outside entities to establish benefi cial relationships. · Information regarding small business resources from Federal, State, and other organizations. · Education is based on the needs and interests of our membership. · Advertising for local businesses.
