(Ret.) Harry "Hank" Cramer, III. His father, Captain Harry Griffith Cramer, was the first U.S. Army Vietnam War casualty. He is a subject matter expert on his father's unit, the 14th SFOD, the first Special Forces team to deploy to Vietnam. One ticket is $15, two tickets are $25. "400 Years" reminds us where we were, who we are, and how we'll reach our tomorrow. "400 Years: The Evolution of Black American Independence" is written and produced by Book Black Women Inc. founder Ayana Washington and No Longer Bound Entertainment founder Cerina Johnson. MISSION 2 SPACE 300 MAIDEN LANE 4 p.m. Get inspired to go on your own adventure and join the Cumberland County Library Headquarters on a Mission 2 Space with building bricks. Discover some incredible structures at Kennedy Space Center's Launch Complex 39, travel the surface of the moon on a lunar rover, explore Mars onboard the "Curiosity" and visit the International Space Station. They will provide the bricks. All you need to bring for this adventure is your imagination. This free event is perfect for kids who are elementary school-aged. TUESDAY, JUNE 20 THURSDAY, JUNE 15 COMEDY & COCKTAILS PADDY'S IRISH PUB 7:30 p.m. Sit back and be prepared to laugh out loud with The Church Entertainment Lounge's showcase of comedians Joe Pontillo and Brian McGuiness. Pontillo is a nationally touring comedian from New York who has appeared on AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, MTV, Sirius XM and Amazon Prime. McGuiness has been making audiences laugh around the country since 2004. A veteran of the NYC comedy scene for over 18 years, he recently made his move down to Raleigh for an easier life. 5:30 p.m. MONDAY, JUNE 19 SATURDAY, JUNE 17 YOUTH ARCHERY CLINIC LAKE RIM PARK 10 a.m. This is an introductory class for younger archers. Smaller bows and a shorter class time will help beginning archers learn the basics of safety, equipment care, and proper form. This event is great for kids ages 5 to 7. The parent or guardian must stay and supervise. You must register for a spot because space is limited. Registration is $5 a participant and can be made by calling 910-433-1018. Education begins within a child's home and community. They will be tea- ching on the history of Juneteenth, establishing freedom principles of their own and making tie dye shirts with the whole family.
