Laura Frizell Eland '05 graduated with a double major in French and journalism from KU. She previously worked in advertising and marketing and is now a homemaker. Laura and her husband, Brad, have two children, Theo and Jane. Bani Singh '05 graduated from St. John's College of nursing and earned an M.S.N. from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professional. She is nurse practitioner in primary care. Bani and her husband, Joe, are expecting their first child and have a 13-year- old dog named Bili. Her favorite Seabury memories were cross country season and Headmaster Holidays! Susie Warden '05 graduated from Skidmore College in 2009 with a B.A. in classics and has been a Pilates instructor since 2013. Susie and her husband, Max, have been married since 2015 and have lived in Texas and California, but are currently residing in Washington, D.C. They have two children, Miles and Claire, and a 13-year-old chihuahua named Liz Lemon. Favorite Seabury memories were forensics tournaments and all the wonderful plays that we did! Kaylin Dillon '06 is the owner of Kaylin Dillon Financial Planning and The Prenup Coach, a process that helps couples through the process of getting a prenuptial agreement, from preparing their finances to communicating their goals to their attorneys. Kaylin and her husband, Grayson '06, live in Lawrence with their 7-year-old daughter, Quinn, and two cats, Prometheus and Shorty. Blake Phipps '06 graduated in 2010 from KU with a B.S. in cell biology, received his M.D. from the KU Medical Center in 2014, and completed his Family Medicine Residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2018. He is a partner and physician at Lawrence Family Practice Center in Lawrence. Blake and his wife Ashley, who is a nurse in the clinical research department at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, have identical twin boys, Jack and Louis, who are 16 months old. He also serves as a trustee on the board for Bishop Seabury Academy. Bria Phipps Livingston '09 graduated from the University of Tulsa with a B.S. in exercise science in 2013 and a doctorate of physical therapy in 2016. She is a physical therapist and clinic director for Orthopedic Rehabilitation Associates in Colorado Springs. Bria and her husband, Jay, were married in 2021 and have one dog named Otto. She said that her best Seabury memories were silly interactions with classmates and staff every day! Peter Cooney III '12 is working as a data scientist at Citadel after completing his undergraduate degree in finance and his graduate degree in computer science. He and his Yorkshire terrier, Lambo, live in New York City. His favorite memories of Seabury are the Word of the Day, Battle of the Bands, sleeping outside, learning ancient Greek, and advising time. Emma Willson Stilgenbauer '14 graduated with a B.A. in zoology and a B.S. in nursing and is working as a surgical orthopedic neurological RN. Emma and her husband, Tyler, eloped and are looking at buying a house. Her favorite memory is the Senior Lounge at Seabury! Shela Pierre-Noel '15 graduated with a degree in French and early childhood. She is a pre- kindergarten lead teacher at Cair Paravel Latin School in Topeka. Annika Knudson '15 is working as a studio assistant in music production. Geunhyung Jo '18 is attending Penn State University and majoring in marketing. Geunhyung's favorite memory was playing on the Seabury basketball team! Ngoc Phan '18 will graduate in May from the KU School of Nursing and will work at the KU Hospital in the Cardio ICU Unit following graduation. She is engaged to Chris Cho '17. Hilary Griggs '19 is pursuing a joint B.A./ M.A. in history from Yale University and will graduate in spring 2024. Ivan Calderon '22 is a freshman at William Jewell College majoring in theatre and psychology. This past year, he performed in four shows. Ivan is on the cheer team, in the choir, and a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. His top memories are writing and performing in the Formally Winter skits. "While they took a lot of work and energy during such a stressful time in the year, the payoff was always worth it," he shares. Alumni Notes
