Delta Tau Delta page 2 B eta Phi has experienced a lot of internal growth this year. Starting in the fall and continuing into the spring, the brothers of Beta Phi completed their time working with Plaid and their Ace program. Plaid is an organization that specializes in helping Greek organizations improve their leadership and professional development. After three weekend sessions in the fall and a final wrap-up session this spring, we learned so much about not just chapter operations, but about ourselves as well. These sessions taught us how different people with unique traits can work together to grow and create an environment to succeed both inside Delta Tau Delta and in the world beyond. We discovered where we were lacking and discussed all the strengths we can bring to the table. Overall, this created a mentality to internalize the great things we were taught and use them to keep advancing forward. After a fall semester of no recruitment, our two recruitment chairmen, Jake Collins '24 and Nate Sidloski '24, jumped back into action this spring to secure a phenomenal group of 59 new members. Due to the hard work and countless hours they put in at the beginning of the semester, Beta Phi gained one of the largest recruitment classes we have ever seen. This new member class was initiated in early April, allowing us to grow our chapter size to 157 active members! Beta Phi Chapter continues to keep all members involved; we were able to send 10 brothers to the final Northern Division Conference, which was hosted in our home city of Columbus, Ohio. Those who went were able to meet brothers from across the country and discuss new ideas on how to improve our chapter and theirs as well. We look forward to continuing our success and involvement at Ohio State and in the surrounding community. Whether it is pairing with sororities for a joint philanthropy event or continuing to volunteer at the Mid-Ohio Food Bank every week, we plan to stay involved and support those around us as we all strive to succeed.
