Delts pass candy out to trick-or-treaters during Greek Shriek. Up next, a game of pin the nose on the pumpkin! A Time of Transition Beta Phi Welcomes New Leadership Beta Phi Crier beta phi Chapter of Delta Tau Delta the ohio state university n Spring 2023 J ust like that, the 2022-23 academic year is coming to an end. I remain inspired by the gentlemen of Beta Phi and all that they endured and overcame this year. They, and you, should be proud. After three great years, we are saying farewell to Musbah Shaheen, the Shelter director. In light of his graduation, we are now interviewing to fill his role. We have had great success in years past utilizing graduate students in this capacity; most have Greek life experiences of their own and many stay on for two or three years. We will keep you updated on our progress in this pursuit. The board has two objectives: to act as a fiduciary body for the Shelter and a sounding board for the chapter members. With that in mind, I wish to expand membership on the board to include more recent alumni. I believe this will further the bond with the chapter and allow graduating seniors an opportunity to immediately give back to the fraternity. So, if anyone is interested in volunteering, please do not hesitate to reach out. You do not need to be local. If COVID taught us one thing, it's that we can effectively operate virtually. Fraternally, Kyle Huff '07 House Association President (740) 361-7951 huff.kyle@gmail.com W e are excited to give you an update on the success of Delta Tau Delta's Forging the Future campaign. This is our National Fraternity's largest campaign to date; we have raised more than $24 million of our $25 million goal. Through their significant contributions, the following Beta Phi alumni helped Paul Falkenbach '80 start his endowment fund before he entered Chapter Eternal: Bill McCloy '82, Chris Beem '87, and Buck Byrne '66. This fund now totals more than $325,000. The campaign specifically supports the PresX and Catalyst programs, which fill educational leadership needs that will propel our fraternity forward into the future. We know you want our fraternity to be successful in the coming years, and this is a way you can have a stake in these initiatives. Won't you join me with a gift to the Paul Falkenbach Endowment Fund? If you have any questions about your pledge, please reach out for assistance. I can be reached at buck@buckbyrne.com or (614) 562-7355. Fraternally, Millard B.
