We are very proud of how the chapter manned up and dealt with the issue as adults. They have stayed active on campus and had a great spring recruiting class this semester. Their work ethic and attitude toward the situation has made them better men. I look forward to helping them grow even stronger in this area. Our Founder's Day business meeting was held via Zoom on February 26. We also plan on holding a brief meeting at the chapter house prior to hosting a Gamma alumni tailgate before the annual Blue-White game. Business discussed during our February meeting was how to better manage some of our alumni funds into CDs due to recent rate increases. We have been working on various areas of the house, including updating the fascia on the front of the building. We plan to continue replacing the worn-out fascia one side per year until complete. Another area of planned upgrades involves replacing furniture, carpeting, and drapes in Great Hall. We are calling it our "Make Great Hall Great Again" campaign. The alumni board is personally donating funds to match other alumni funds that come in for the project. The extent of our updates to Great Hall will depend on the financial support we get for the project. Please consider financially supporting our renovations. I would like to encourage all alumni to become involved with the Gamma alumni group. We are always accepting help, and you can help in many ways. Some give their time, others can give their expertise and advice, and others financially support the chapter. If you would like to become more involved, please contact me or others on the board. We would love to hear from you.
