W e hope this letter finds all brothers and any others reading this in good health. We are very proud of the work we have put in over the past year and can't wait for you all to hear about our accomplishments. The men of Kansas Beta have had by far their most productive semester in recent history. We have fully dived into the Balanced Man Program, allowing us to develop the undergraduates into the best versions of themselves. Alongside our developmental systems, our Chapter has made great strides in all aspects of Fraternity life. Academically, our cumulative GPA is a 3.38. This number is far higher than the all-men's campus average of just over a 3.0 and the Fraternity average of 3.1. We have also made massive improvements in our philanthropic department. We hosted our first weeklong philanthropy event, SigEp Safari. In our first year of running this event, we raised over $10,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters. We are proud to have greatly improved our programming. We hosted a mental health SLC event at the union with over 97% Chapter attendance from us and our cosponsor of the event, Chi Omega. This helped us win the mental health wellness award among all Fraternities at this year's IFC Fraternity Excellence Awards. We also have a date finalized to bring in two representatives from Love Mom and Dad. This is a very powerful presentation from two mothers who lost their sons in hazing incidents. We plan on attendance being near the 2,000-person mark. We also won an anti-hazing award from the IFC Awards for this program. Along with these honors, we won two more awards at SigEp's Carlson Leadership Academy last January. These awards were given to the best Chapters in the region for their specific classifications. We were awarded the best alumni volunteer committee and outstanding communications for our work on social media and website improvements. All these accomplishments led to us winning the Changemaker Chapter of the Year. All this positive press has helped us in recruiting the best fit men to join our Chapter. Our new member class this year is full of great young men, and we have a promising class starting to take form for this fall. The future is bright with great leaders on this executive board at the head of the Chapter. Our potential is just being tapped into with what we can accomplish in years to come, and we are all very excited to see where the future takes us.
