Jalapeño Slaw
Deanna Poulk says: "This is Chris' special
recipe that we pair with pork loin. It's great
with barbecue too."
2 1-lb. bags of slaw mix
1/3 cup diced fresh jalapeño pepper
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
Dressing:
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
11/2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
A few dashes of Tabasco sauce
Directions: Combine slaw mix, jalapeño
and green onion in a bowl. In small bowl,
combine all dressing ingredients and
stir together. Pour the dressing mix over
vegetables and toss to coat. Refrigerate for
at least one hour or until ready to serve.
