T8 WHATS UP! April 2 - 8, 2023 BY RAYE SMITH TV Media WHAT'S NEW ON APPLE TV+ "Schmigadoon!" - Season 2 The lovers are back and ready to paint the town in Season 2 of the hit musical comedy "Schmiga- doon!" when it premieres on Ap- ple TV+ Wednesday, April 5. Having returned to their every- day lives after discovering the magical, musical land of Schmigadoon, where everyone acts like they're in a perfor- mance of classic musicals, Josh (Keegan-Michael Key, "Keanu," 2016) and Melissa (Cecily Strong, "Saturday Night Live") are left feeling like something is missing for them. Heading back into the woods in search of Schmigadoon once more, what they find instead is Schmicago, a darker, grittier fantasy land that reimagines the musicals of the 1960s and '70s. Now, as they set- tle back into a new adventure, they'll have to take on a whole new cast (or two, or three ...) as they work to solve a song-and- dance-filled murder mystery.
