MEET OUR NEW HOUSE CORPORATION PRESIDENT Thank You for Serving Lambda L ucas Sjostrom #1645 lives in rural Brooten with his wife, Alise, a fellow University of Minnesota alumna. They have three children. Lucas holds a bachelor's (2009) and master's (2016) degree in animal science. His wife graduated with a bachelor's (2008) in agriculture industries and marketing with a dairy food-quality emphasis. He is the executive director of the Minnesota Milk Producers Association and the managing director at Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative. The Sjostroms are also partners in their family businesses, Jer-Lindy Farms, a 200-cow dairy farm with 300 acres, and Redhead Creamery, an artisan cheese, craft whey spirits, and agritourism enterprise. Lucas grew up on a dairy farm near Lafayette and previously worked for Holstein Association USA, Hoard's Dairyman magazine, Dairy Herd Management magazine, and Midwest Dairy. He will be succeeding Keith Wolf #1142 as house corporation president. We are grateful for the work Keith has done for us, and we are looking forward to Lucas' tenure in the position. Welcome, New Brothers! Finding a Community Why They Joined AGR "I knew it would help me develop into a better man and expand my social community through networking. I also joined to grow closer to brothers in the house and make lifelong relationships with them not only personally, but also academically." Brady Gille #1862 "To gain access to the tremendous brotherhood shown in the house, to gain knowledge from the vast experience of our great alumni, and to open myself up to greater opportunities provided through AGR." Owen Rozeboom #1865 "I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself and become involved on campus in different ways. Seeing the guys in the house and how similar their agricultural backgrounds are to mine made me feel at homeā€”even halfway across the country. I couldn't be happier with my decision, and I look forward to being part of the brotherhood for the next step in my education!" Keenan Thygensen #1868 "I knew I would be gaining a community of brothers who would push me to become a better man and encourage me to have fun while doing so." Ben Styer #1867
