Bianca Shoneman is an award-winning urban place manager with
more than 15 years of experience in growing city skylines and cultural
amenities.
When she's not perfecting her pesto recipe, she has been awarded
millions of dollars in grants, won national awards for development
campaigns, scripted zoning ordinances, facilitated design guidelines,
brought potable water to a small community in rural El Salvador, and
participated in various levels in the development spectrum.
She joined Fayetteville's downtown revitalization team in September
2019 as CEO of Cool Spring Downtown District. Since her arrival, the
organization has celebrated more than 800,000 GSF of new, planned
or under-construction investments in the urban core; organized more
than 100 community events; and tripled the entity's operating budget.
She is excited to see people celebrate the community and build on

Carol Watkins is the driving force of
inspiration, knowledge and fun at her
destination shop, Loving Stitches,
now in its 27th year in business.
Having sewn most of her life, she
shares her love for the craft of quilt
making with vivid colors and textures
with many quilters throughout the
Southeast. One of the largest quilt
stores in the eastern U.S., Loving Stitches offers the finest
sewing, embroidery and quilting products with more than
7,000 bolts of 100% cotton fabrics and batiks. Loving Stitches
is also a Bernina sewing machine dealer and is currently one
of the top 10 Bernina longarm dealers in the country. The staff
provides excellent beginner to advanced sewing, quilting
and embroidery classes, and the store services all brands of
machines. Through Carol's inspiration, the store is blessed
to have a fun, knowledgeable, hard-working staff. Perhaps

friendship and kindness people experience there.
