D ear Brothers, As members of PIKE, we're used to setting high expectations for ourselves and each other. The goals we've set for Gamma Theta are just as ambitious. Whether you've stayed connected with the chapter since graduation or are ready to jump back in, I hope 2023 serves as a year of reconnection for everyone. While it's a new year, we're the same Gamma Theta. The active chapter is ready to take the year by storm, and we can't wait to provide alumni support to help them achieve their goals. Our membership is driven and our goals for 2023 are bold. It's crucial for our alumni and undergraduate brothers to be united as we plan the future of PIKE. RENOVATIONS Ensuring PIKE has a home worthy of the brotherhood is our first project of 2023. We have major plans for a construction/improvement project in the backyard area. There are also plans for renovations to the house and other exterior grounds, which we are working on curating designs for. All these projects are being funded by investments from the capital campaign. Thanks to over 200 donors, we have raised $1,349,801, and we are excited to provide our brothers with a renovated home. We are always in need of contributions, however, and will keep you updated on potential fundraising for future projects. EVENTS We enjoyed getting together on October 7, 2022, for our alumni event during Homecoming. Brothers of all ages had a great time reconnecting and creating new memories while cheering on the Bulldogs. Alumni events are a great way to take a break from our busy lives and bask in the brotherhood. Our goal for 2023 is to have high alumni participation at upcoming events. We are planning many more events for 2023, so stay tuned. COMMUNICATION Gamma Theta is focused on increasing and improving communication between our alumni and active members, which includes their upcoming phone-a-thon. The chapter is undertaking the project of updating alumni contact information and will be reaching out to alumni directly. If you have a new address, email, or phone number you'd like to update, please email gammathetapike.alumni@gmail.com with your new information. You can also visit our website gammathetapike.com/alumni/.com to update your information too. Here's to a great year of brotherhood and improvement!
