Enjoy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and the happiest of all holidays to one and all. HONORED GUESTS On Monday, November14th, mem- bers were welcomed guests GFWC- AZPresident Grace Kobojek and GFWC-AZ Treasurer Debbie Grie- der to the club. Ms Grieder brought a presentation on the General Fed- eration of Women's Clubs with pic- tures and information dating back 1901, before the Arizona was even a state! President Kobojek found an intense audience as she explained her eight "Can Do's" and her fa- vorite projects. Unfortunately, the guests were unable to stick around for a lively game of Left Right Cen- ter which Kathy Cantrell won. HOLIDAY BAZAAR THANK YOU EVERYONE who purchased goodies at the recent Ba- zaar. What a success it was! Funds totaling over $2,600 were gener- ated from sale of bake goods, quilts and crafts, and the opportunity drawing. (RADA reported below). This will be allocated to our Com- munity Grant Program. Pat Pisarski won the fi shing quilt, Sue Johnson the holiday quilt and Kathy Cantrell the pinwheel quilt. CUTLERY Deb Banks did an outstanding job of organizing and selling of ourRADA stock. The shopworn, display items and out of stock items had been marked down. Those items brought in $962 at our Holiday Bazaar. Still in need of cutlery? We still have some! Russ has promoted the Quartzsite Area on his YouTube channel and Facebook, RVerTV, and web- site https://rvertv.tv/ on which he features RV travel destinations and other useful information. Having spent almost 20 years in the Quartzsite area, Russ knows our hidden treasures and how to navigate the streets during the month of January. It's a rare day at the Chamber Visitor Center that he isn't mentioned by our visitors. His information is timely, accurate and presented in a manner that makes you want to check out new places while travelling around the country. RVerTV's Live stream of the Christ- mas parade had over 14,000 views.
