Delta Chis Gather for Our 60th
Anniversary and Housing Dedication
CELEBRATING
ANOTHER MILESTONE
I
n early October, over 100 Delta Chis gathered in Manhattan, Kansas,
to celebrate 60 years of Delta Chi at K-State. We spent Friday evening
catching up with friends over a drink at Kite's. Then on Saturday, we
hosted a lunch and housing dedication at 801 Moro Street.
Mike Dichiser '95 and Aaron Otto '98 spoke of the support and
commitment it took to acquire the new property. Alumni and friends
were then given tours of our newly renovated common spaces and
apartments by the undergraduates who live at Moro.
Saturday night, we had a formal banquet at the Alumni Center, where
Tom Haney '70 gave the keynote address and Mike Niemeyer '73
presented his brother Steven's AM of the Semester Scholarship.
We capped off the night by watching the Cats beat Iowa State at a
bar in Aggieville. It was one of our favorite weekends, and we are so
thankful to everyone who made the trip.
