We worked tirelessly with Alpha Chi Omega to create these amazing decorations. Get Involved with Alpha Eta Today I am super excited about having taken on a new role as the vice president of alumni engagement, but before I jump into what I want to do for the Chapter and the goals I have set, here is a little about myself: I graduated from Oklahoma State in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in business management. I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with my wife, Paige, and two kids, Anderson (6) and Kennedy (1), while working remotely in human resources and talent acquisition for a big tech company. I took on this role because of my passion for Lambda Chi. I was always involved in the house and held multiple positions as an undergraduate. I will tell you the truth; it has been a while since I have been involved with the Chapter. That was why I reached out to David Reynolds AH1367 to see how I could help the house or get invited to events; I needed to be more in the loop as an alumnus. So, David asked if I could meet for coffee, and I told my wife I was going to meet with someone from Lambda Chi. Right before I walked out the door, she said, "Don't take on too much." Two weeks later, Darton and David asked me to take on the VP role! But after that conversation, I could not have been more enthusiastic about working with them and taking on this role. As a recent alumnus, I can bring value to the house in a position like this by getting things done, networking with current and past brothers, and putting on outstanding events for us to connect and get together. The overall consensus I have felt and seen myself from being in this role for a short time is that we are trending upward from a holistic Chapter standpoint. When it comes to the house, the current actives, and alumni, we are all working toward the common goal of how we can continue to make the house the best on campus. We need the continued support of alumni who have put time and effort in, but it is now time for the younger alumni to step up and do their part. I aim to bridge that gap between eras and bring everyone together, including the actives. Please feel free to contact me, as I would love to connect with anyone willing to chat, help, or give feedback on where we can improve. Thanks, everybody.
