PAGE 2 EXCELLING ON GREEK ROW Alpha Eta Prioritizes Improvement in All Areas T he fall 2022 semester has been both exhilarating and nerve-racking, but most importantly, it has given us the best moments of our life. As a result of a successful summer recruitment, we recruited fifty-four young men— the largest associate class out of all the fraternities at Oklahoma State! This was all made possible by a well-established plan from our High Delta, Luke Sinn AH2059, and the recruitment team. After getting all the new associates moved in, we began to host brotherhood events throughout the first few weeks. It was great to finally have everyone back around. The first large event we hosted was Watermelon Bust, and we were able to raise over $1,000 for Feeding America. The sororities helped gather over 2,400 cans, which we donated to the Salvation Army. High Theta Cooper Gommel AH2084 is in the works of planning many more philanthropy events that will help us give even more back to the community. The Greatest Homecoming in America is once again in the books. Lambda Chi Alpha was paired with Alpha Chi Omega with the hopes of taking the gold. Throughout the semester, the Chapter worked diligently on this massive project, and with the extreme help of our leadership, we managed to balance schoolwork in the process. Although our schedules are very hectic during this time of year, education is our number one priority. Just this semester alone, we have increased our overall GPA to a 3.27 and are in the top 10 for grades! High Sigma Jake Holmquest AH2089 has implemented various academic activities over the course of the semester to ensure we move up even further. With the addition of a new award, "Zax Honor Roll," we recognized 15 members who made the Dean's List along with seven members who made the President's Honor Roll. The future of this fraternity is very bright, and we as a leadership cannot wait to see what it entails. Brothers who made a 4.0 GPA. Brothers who made a 3.5 GPA. Every game day, one of our amazing parents, Chris Tillotson, hauls up his tailgate trailer packed with grills, TVs, and so much more. He enjoys the opportunity to let everyone have a good time and relax for the weekend. Members of the High Zeta attend the 2022 Alumni Reunion in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This networking event allowed us to meet our alumni and represent something bigger than ourselves. Our active brothers set up a station to help our newest members on move-in day. The leadership coordinated an excellent plan to help make the process as smooth as possible, and our members got to know the associates better throughout the day. For the first time in Alpha Eta Chapter history, the general membership exceeded 100 brothers.
