FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18 FAYETTEVILLE EATS CROWN COMPLEX 7:30 p.m. Know the difference between an R4 and an R2? Well this trivia night might be for you. Join the Church Entertainment Lounge at Paddy's Irish Pub to enter their Star Wars theme cash trivia and pos- sibly win Paddy's Pot of Gold. Outside of trivia, there are more chances to win prizes for the best-dressed person and best-dressed team. Teams can be made up of eight people maximum. There is a $5 entrance fee per player. All money goes into the pot plus $100 cash from Paddy. BEGINNING BEEKEEPING 301 EAST MOUNTAIN DRIVE 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The Cumberland County Cooperative Extension Master Beekeeper, Kenny Bailey, will provide a six-week course on Beginning Beekeeping. The course will cover the basic information necessary to get started in beekeeping and will prepare participants for the practical beekeeping course that will be offered in the spring of 2023. COOKING DEMONSTRATION 4101 RAEFORD ROAD SUITE 100 4:30 p.m. The Wellness & Opportunity Center pro- vides programs and educational opportuni- ties for their members and the community. This free event will focus on nutrition. AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina will partner with Cooking4Fitness to provide a cooking demonstration for the upcom- ing Thanksgiving holiday. Cumberland County Animal Services are thankful for the pets who make people's families complete. Looking to add a playful pup or a cuddly cat to your home before Thanksgiving? Cumberland County Animal Shelter has lots of adoptable pets looking for homes. Come out to the Crown Complex to meet them, and while you're there, you can enter to win tickets to upcoming events and grab lunch from Kwon's Kitchen Korean Fusion Food Truck. STAR WARS TRIVIA PADDY'S IRISH PUB 3 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Fayetteville Eats is designed to marry two of the most exciting elements of the Fayetteville community – its wonderful cuisine and Marksmen Hockey! Join us for a Food Festival featuring samples of some of the best food and drink that Fayetteville has to offer, followed by a Marksmen hockey game. This is an exclusive event that will happen every third Thursday of the month. If you are a poet, comic, songwriter or musician, they encourage you to come out for this awesome event. This is free to the public. This TAP event will be hosted by local poet, El'Ja Bowens.
