It is hard to believe that we are already celebrating our fourth year of the new house on 238 E. Maxwell being open! As another fall semester rolls around, we are grateful to host activities at the house, including recruitment, initiation, Parent's Weekend, and Founder's Day. WELCOME HOME! We are excited to welcome 81 new women to the incredible legacy of our sisterhood and see the impact they make on campus. The Beta Chi House Board has been hard at work making sure that we maintain our beautiful home. As you can imagine, after four years of having 68 women living in and hosting a 250-plus- person chapter, there is quite a bit of wear and tear on the home. We were able to replace the carpet with hardwood in the second floor living spaces at the request of the women living in, and we are thrilled we were able to make the improvement. The house board works continuously with the chapter to ensure that the house is meeting their needs and getting the attention it needs. THANK YOU, ALUMNAE We have come a long way since kicking off the campaign over five years ago. We are truly grateful for the donations of each and every Kappa along the way. The projects, like replacing the floors, will continue to be a need. SUPPORTING THE SISTERHOOD In honor of the house's fourth anniversary, I hope you'll consider donating to assist with the ongoing maintenance and support of the house. Please know that all donations made through the Kappa Foundation are tax deductible and go to the Beta Chi house fund for projects and needed maintenance. If you have any questions, or if I can provide additional information, please don't hesitate to reach out. SEE YOU SOON! If you haven't made it to the house yet, I highly encourage you plan a trip! We all love 238 E. Maxwell because of the memories it holds for us. You will be so impressed with how we are able to help support the chapter via this house.
