The
annual
ceremony
to remember
those
who
lost their
lives in
the di-
sasters
on September
11, 2001
was
held
Sunday,
9/11
at the
Heroes
Bell
Gardens
in Celia's
Rainbow
Gardens
in Quartzsite
Town
park.
VFW
Post
769
Commander
Wendt
showed
off
the
new
insignia
plaques
for
all
six
branches
of the
military
that
had
just
been
added
a few
days
before
the ceremony.
More
will
be
added
to
the
monuments
as
they
are
fi nished.
The
Salvation
Army
also
held
fundraising
for
some
plaques
for
the
Fire
Departments
and
Law
Enforcement.
Thanks
to
all the
volunteers
and
cus-
tomers
who
helped
Lee-Ann
with
her
fundraising!!
More
fundraiers
will be
done
to
get
the rest
of
the
plaques
for all
the
mon-
uments.
They
will
be
added
later
when
more
are
ready.
