During this Winning Weekday and Dollar Dog Wednesday game, fans can enjoy dollar hot dogs while also bringing along their pups for only $1! All dog owners must provide proof of updated rabies, bordetella and DHPP shots. If the Woodpeckers win, all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket to the next Winning Weekday game on Aug. 24. SATURDAY, AUGUST 13 GO-GO/BBQ FESTIVAL FESTIVAL PARK 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Love cars? Love to show your ride off? Love to meet other car enthusiasts? Come check out Fayetteville's Cars and Coffee meet at Millstone Theatre in Millstone Towne Centre located in Hope Mills. Come talk cars with other car enthusiasts while enjoying coffee and treats from Frost- ings Cakeshop. All makes and models welcome! No revving, burnouts, speeding or reckless driving is allowed. SUNDAY BRUNCH FAYETTEVILLE PIE COMPANY 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. North Carolina singer/songwriter Michael Daughtry brings his audiences power- ful, positive rock music tinged with folk and pop. His vocal range shines in his original songs, which feature tight, driving performances as a solo acoustic act and with the backing of his band, The Drift. A gifted guitarist and pianist, Daughtry has earned accolades from a range of artists, including Luenell, Derek Trucks, John Ford Coley and Dale Baker of Sixpence None the Richer. Daughtry has opened concerts for Jimmy Buffett and Edwin Mc- Cain, among others. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the Berklee College of Music. Enjoy listening to his music while eating a few brunch pies. JUMPING BACK TO SCHOOL JP'S JUMP MASTERS 4 p.m. Deployed Love wanted a reason to cele- brate starting the school year off right. They are hosting a community event for military spouses and their kids at JP's Jump Masters. The first 15 kids are free. Let the kids jump while the parents hang out in the lounge area next to the cafe. Kids two and under are free with a paying adult. For a family of four, 1 hour tickets with 4 pairs of jump socks is $40. Deployed Love is a community run by volunteers to reach out and bring together military families for when their loved ones are deployed overseas. JP's Jump Masters is located at 7005 Nexus Court. MONDAY, AUGUST 15 THURSDAY, AUGUST 11 INDUSTRY DAY 955 OLD WILMINGTON ROAD 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m A local networking event hosted by PWC and the City of Fayetteville will highlight procurement opportunities available. Attendees will have the opportunity to certify as a Small Local Supplier (SLS) and enroll in PWC's iSupplier portal as well as get onsite support. The park opens at 5 p.m. 10 O'Clock High will perform at 6 p.m. Zoso — The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience will begin at 8 p.m. There will also be a full lineup of food trucks surrounding Festival Park. The line-up includes Ah Yanna's Italian Ice, Big Erves, Big Red Food Truck, Creech's O'Taste & Sea, Drizzle D's Donuts and Kwon's Kitchen Korean Fusion Cuisine. The Fayetteville After 5 Concert Series is free and open to the public. Outside food, drink, canopies and coolers are not per- mitted on-site. AUGUST CARS AND COFFEE MILLSTONE TOWNE CENTRE 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. The music festival-style event, spon- sored by Brotha's BBQ and Catering, will feature live musical performances pooled from North Carolina talent and some bands new to the Sandhills. Hosted by comedian Antoine Scott, the concert will showcase a variety of sounds and styles, from rhythm and blues and rap to reggae and go-go. Scheduled to appear on stage are vocalist Trayvion, the Jus Once Band, Khioken, Squad Suttle, Black Alley, Blacc Print, DJ Slice and DJ Cutting Up. Tickets start at $35 and several discount packages are available for couples, groups and advance purchases. SATURDAY, AUGUST 13 THURSDAY, AUGUST 11 ART WITH MARK 325 BLOUNT STREET 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. The Downtown Market of Fayetteville is excited to bring back Art with Mark to the store. Mark is their original milkman and a great local artist. This will be a beginner's class to learn basic techniques and have fun. The class includes canvas and paints, non-alcoholic and specialty - -themed honey adult beverages from Beehive Yourself, a grazing table made by Beehive Yourself with local goodies for dinner, two hours of fun and educa- tion and bonding time.
