Good Luck, Seniors!
It's hard to believe that another academic year is behind us and we have
said goodbye to another graduating class. This class, however, is a bit
different. The 2018 fall group is the first new member class to consist of
60 men.
The past four years have flown by, and it has been nothing short of
amazing to watch this group of young men grow both personally and
professionally as they move on to the next phase in life. The support
that Phi Kappa Psi Texas Alpha and the resources that the Texas Alpha
Endowment Fund have provided these men have been truly invaluable
and noticed by many as a strong competitive advantage over their peers.
Academic Endeavors
Whenever the conversation is about grades and the strength of academic programming, it is well known that the caliber of
student at the University of Texas at Austin has increased exponentially. Why is that relevant? It showcases and highlights the
importance of providing an exceptional experience to our members to give them a leg up on the competition.
This year, the top three colleges of Phi Kappa Psi Texas Alpha undergraduate brothers were McCombs School of Business
(37.4%), Cockrell School of Engineering (23.9%) and the College of Natural Sciences (16.2%). Over 54.3% of the chapter boasts
G.P.A.s between 3.51-3.99, and an even more impressive statistic of 15% of members maintained a 4.0 G.P.A.
