thejewelrybook.com | 55 Q: Who is the "Crevoshay" woman? A: Although every Crevohsay collector is wonderfully unique, there are some common threads they share. ey are self actualized, successful in their realm. ey are leaders, secure socially and nancially. ey have no need to impress others, so they are free to express their own unique taste. ey like knowing that no one else has the same jewelry as they do, and they appreciate that museums are actively collecting Crevoshay. ey love color, art and beauty. Q: What is your greatest achievement? A: When I was a student studying the work of the great masters I hoped my work would be studied after I pass. I suppose it's akin to a young gymnast dreaming of going to the Olympics, or a physics major hoping to make a contribution worthy of a Nobel Prize. I was quite surprised and very grati ed when I rst learned that my work is already part of the curriculum in art and design schools across the country. When I updated my web page in the mid 1990's, I learned that more than half of the hits where from . edu (educational) web sites, and more than half of those were from schools in Europe and Asia. I hope that my in uence raises the bar in inspiring creativity in design and excellence of execution for future generations.
