The Clydesdale horse breed originated
from farm horses in Clydesdale, Scotland
around the middle of the 18th century.
They are known for their beauty,
impressive size and strength, unique
"feathering" around their hooves, and
gentle, serene nature.
In 1998, Bob Funk, owner of Express
Employment Professionals, visited the
Canadian Western Agribition in Regina,
Saskatchewan, where he met and fell in
love with the rare and beautiful black
and white Clydesdales. Mr. Funk saw an
opportunity to bring something entirely
new and different to his home state of
Oklahoma, a state steeped in its own rich
equestrian history.
This team of Clydesdales has made
appearances all over the United States
and Canada including such notable events
as the Calgary Stampede, The Macy's
Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Tournament
of Roses Parade and numerous other
events across the nation.
