As I shared in the last newsletter, and it remains true now, we are so grateful to have Kappas back in the house and lots of events taking place. We were able to host Ashley Ciminella Judd '87 at the house at the beginning of October. It was a tremendous honor have her stay with us and to hear from her about how her time living in the Beta Chi house had a significant impact on her life. I am so happy to report that the house is fully committed for the 2022-23 school year. This is our first year since the house opened that this has been true. It took tremendous effort by the chapter officers and House Board to accomplish this. We are all excited to have more women in the house next year and to continue building our Kappa legacy at 238 E. Maxwell Street. You were introduced to our house director, Miss Marcy, in the last newsletter. We are so honored and truly grateful for all the work she has done and continues to do. She was recognized by Panhellenic as Outstanding House Director of the Year. The nomination for this award came from the chapter women and was truly well deserved. Her impact in her first year has been tremendous, and her positive influence on the house is already recognized. Lastly, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has given so generously to the capital campaign. There were several of you who, over the course of 2021, completed your pledge payment installments. Your continued support is appreciated. If you have not had a chance to give and are still interested, please know there are still opportunities available. We have naming rights for various spaces still available, as well as the opportunity to sponsor dining room chairs with a $250 donation. The house has ongoing needs as it continues to support not only the women living in the facility, but also the entire chapter as well. If you have any questions on how to give or continue giving, I am more than happy to assist.
