REVEREND CHIP STAPLETON
The Rev. Chip Stapleton is serving in ministry
with Highland Presbyterian Church for a second
time, having been ordained into ministry here
in 2007. He and his wife, Traci, have four boys:
Charlie, Jack, Ian and Henry. He received
his undergraduate degree in history from
Westminster College and completed seminary
at the University of Dubuque Theological
Seminary. He also has a certificate in youth and
theology from Princeton Theological Seminary
and is currently completing his doctoral work in
the Leadership and Global Perspectives program at Portland Seminary.
As senior minister, Stapleton leads and encourages everyone to share
God's love. Highland's Food Pantry serves the community weekly
(distributing approximately 50 bags of non-perishable foods and
produce), and its Thanksgiving Day Meal mission cooks, assembles and
delivers more than 1,800 meals annually. Highland offers adult Bible
study, take-out Wednesday night dinners and exciting programs for
children (Trunk-or-Treat, Sunday School, and VBS) and youth (day trips,
devotionals, Chick-fil-A breakfasts and mission trips). Highland also has
the Highland Learning Center, a Christian-based childcare serving infants
through pre-school and providing school-aged after-school programs.
