Britany Spivey, the director of Christian education, and the Rev. Matt Thorley lead the ministries with children, youth and younger adults. From infants through fifth grade, the children's ministries create a firm and nurturing foundation for faith. Britany includes solid teaching, creative learning spaces, mission opportunities and musical enrichment to engage children as their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior grows. Matt leads the youth during the years when faith is both owned and tested. Through teaching, fellowship, mission opportunities and worship, youth at First Presbyterian are helped to craft a Christian identity that makes sense of who God has created them to be. Matt also offers guidance to younger adults in the congregation as they make decisions about personal relationships, jobs, life mission and spiritual identity. The goal at First Presbyterian is to make church a family affair, for young and old and everyone in between. The church is intergenerational, missional, worshipful and above all Christ-centered. Matt and Britany, as well as the rest of the pastoral staff and program directors, would love to meet your family. People may visit in person or online. Service times are Sundays at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., with Sunday School at 10 a.m. The church is planning future weekday evening service times that are come as you are. News about upcoming services and events will be available online. Rev. Before coming to Epicenter, he spent more than 15 years in the business world - building and running a highly successful company - and he brings that same drive and passion to his role at Epicenter. These characteristics and experiences have given him a unique perspective, and he wants to leverage that perspective to reach people with the love of Jesus. Pastor Mark is married to Kim, and they have three sons: Michael, Cody and Jacob. Under Pastor Mark's leadership, Epicenter Church has grown to three locations and has a passion to serve our community. We believe that saved people serve people. From hosting Hop in the Park, an Easter event that draws 25,000-plus people annually, to Operation Compassion, an initiative that feeds 5,000 people a Thanksgiving meal, Epicenter exists to serve others. The church also started a non-profit organization that empowers people to volunteer to meet the needs of those around them, and over 100,000 community service hours have been logged so far. Epicenter holds worship services on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and offers ministries and programs for the entire family. Mark Knight EPICENTER CHURCH
