The goal of the event is to connect family and friends with the local police department to help stop gun violence in the commu- nity. There will be free popcorn, snacks, ice cream and drinks. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. and the movie, "Encanto," will start after dusk. APRIL 1 BLACKBEARD'S SUNKEN PRIZE TONY RAND STUDENT CENTER Archeologist Dr. Linda F. Carnes-Mc- Naughton will be giving a history lecture on Queen Anne's Revenge Shipwreck Project. She will offer an illustrated jour- ney of the ship's history, its use as a French privateer, then as a slave ship, and then its capture and use as a pirate flagship. Be sure to bring your Easter smile as the bunny will be available for photos. Hot breakfast to include pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage, professional photographer, and, of course, the Easter Bunny! $10 tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. APRIL 9 FROM STAGE TO SCREEN SEABROOK AUDITORIUM From Stage to Screen is the final subscription concert of the 2021-2022 Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra sea- son. Their program features compos- ers that began their careers writing for the concert stage only to evolve into some of the greatest composers for the silver screen. You may rec- ognize Nino Rota's Waltz and Love Theme from The Godfather, or Max Steiner's theme from the 1959 film, A Summer Place. Also featured on the program is music by the beloved 20th Century Russian composer, Serge Prokofiev, and his suite from the film Lt. Kijé. The total concert run time is an hour and 20 minutes. WOODPECKERS OPENING DAY SEGRA STADIUM It's opening night for the Woodpeckers with their first game at home for the season! The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Woodpeck- ers 'band tour' t-shirt! Following the game, the Woodpeckers promise a lit night by lighting up the sky with fireworks for the first time this season! The Fayetteville Woodpeckers will be facing the Salem Red Sox. APRIL 12 ALL-AMERICAN TATTOO CONVENTION CROWN EXPO The All American Tattoo Convention returns to Fayetteville and will feature over 325 tattoo artists tattooing on site from all over the world, some of which you may have seen on TV shows such as Inkmaster, Tattoo Nightmares or Tattoo Rescue and over 30 specialty vendors offering products from all around the world. Along with the 50 plus tattoo con- tests, the 5th annual Miss All American Pin-up Pageant, a special spot for kids and teens, a VIP meet and greet. The goal is to give some of the best tattoo artists in the world the opportunity to showcase their talents to some of the nation's bravest heroes, while also raising mon- ey for local charities that benefit our soldiers and their families. APRIL 15 - APRIL 17 APRIL 9 ULTIMATE LIP SYNC SHOWDOWN CROWN BALLROOM Don't miss this evening of music, fun and frivolity as local "celebrities" battle it out! Proceeds will benefit the Child Ad- vocacy Center – a place of healing and hope for child abuse victims. Fayetteville's Ultimate Lip Sync Showdown is back so don't delay. FOOLISHNESS SCAVENGER HUNT FAYETTEVILLE HISTORY MUSEUM Will you find the clues to Fayette- ville's local history mysteries? During Spring Break, kids can search for special local history questions (and the answers) hidden throughout the exhibits at the Fayetteville History Museum. This self-guided activ- ity is perfect for Grades 2-5 and visitors of all ages who are eager to learn more about Fayetteville and the surrounding area. APRIL 19 - APRIL 23 APRIL 9 BREAKFAST WITH THE EASTER BUNNY HUSKE HARDWARE HOUSE Have your cameras ready because the Easter Bunny will be taking a break from preparing for Easter and will visit historic downtown Fayetteville for a family breakfast event. Kids under the age of 12 will be served the Happy Eggs Breakfast. All attendees over the age of three are required to have a ticket.
