They will have a cute St Patrick's Day craft great for all ages, as well as a few great stories to celebrate the luck of the Irish. There will also be a raffle for tickets to the Deployed Love Princess Tea Party event. Everyone who comes to the event is automatically entered for a chance to win the tickets. This event is free for any military family in the area. THURSDAY, MARCH 17 ST. PATRICK'S SCAVENGER HUNT CAPE FEAR BOTANICAL GARDEN 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Follow clues to search for ten silly lepre- chauns who've been sneaking around the garden. Find them all to earn a bag of chocolate gold coins as a prize. This event is free with regular garden admission or membership. All ages are welcome. The scavenger hunt can be done at your own pace and is open during regular garden hours. FRIDAY, MARCH 18 THE TEN TENORS CROWN CENTER COMPLEX 7:30 p.m. Open your hearts to The Ten Tenors be- cause Love Is in the Air! The Ten Tenors will be singing some of the most popular feel-good love songs and wedding-first-dance songs of all time at the Crown Theatre. They'll cover many favorite romantic tunes, from pop songs with a twist to classic love songs, and even a few of the most famous and touching love arias in existen- ce. For anyone with a soft spot for a tender tune, this is an experience not to be missed. Tickets can be purchased at www.crowncomplexnc.com/events/ detail/the-ten-tenors-1. SATURDAY, MARCH 19 CELEBRATING WOMEN POP-UP SHOP VOLTA SPACE 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Join Volta Space for a multi-vendor shopping party showcasing women-owned businesses. Attendees can expect a free mocktail, giveaways throughout the event for some awesome prizes and a chance to support women-owned busine- sses and find goodies for you, your kids, your honey, your bestie, and everyone else. This is a free event, however registration is required for tickets. Tickets can be found at https://celebratingwomenfay.eventbrite.com. LUCK OF THE DRAG QUEENS DIRTBAG ALES BREWERY 11 a.m. Join Carolina Drag Brunch for their St Paddy's Day themed drag brunch at Dirtbag Ales Brewery. The event is being hosted by Amanda Larouxx and DJed by DJ Alan with guests Shelita Bonet Hoyle who was first alternate for Miss Gay America 2022, Kirby Kilby, Miss Gay America 2012, Giselle Cassidy Carter and Christina Cozette. The doors open at 11 a.m. for this event. Brunch tickets cost $30 and tickets for the show only are $15. ROCKEFELLER HOUSE TOUR CARVERS CREEK STATE PARK 2 p.m. Join Carvers Creek State Park for a guid- ed tour of the Rockefeller House. Please be prepared for a half mile hike to the house. The tour will start at the house. Arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of time in order to arrive at the house on time. This is a pre-registration event only and is limited to ten visitors. You can call the park office to sign-up. The number to register is 910-436-4681. SUNDAY, MARCH 20 4 p.m. SATURDAY, MARCH 19 FRIDAY, MARCH 19 WOMEN MEAN BUSINESS GATES FOUR GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB 10:30 a.m. Join the Hope Mills Chamber for their inau- gural Women Mean Business Brunch. The Brunch is dedicated to bringing together female entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals for a morning filled with humor, networking, motivation and business opportunities. Netflix star Hilliary Begley will be the special guest and will start the morning off with some stories, jokes and quips about what it means to be a woman in today's world. The Keynote Speaker for the event will be Mary Morketter, who has risen from within the ranks and now runs 47 local Short Stop convenience stores. DOWNTOWN WALKING TOUR FAYETTEVILLE HISTORY MUSEUM 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Join the Fayetteville Area Transporta- tion and Local History Museum for a downtown walking tour through Fay- etteville's historic district. No registration is required, just meet in front of the museum at 1 p.m. The tour may include a visit to the Market House, the Fayetteville Light Infantry Museum and Armory and some of the historic churches, Liberty Point, Cool Springs Tavern and Cross Creek Cemetery. There will be a moderate amount of walking around downtown so bring comfortable shoes. This will be the first in a reoccurring series of walking tours that will happen every third Monday of every month. MONDAY, FEBRUARY 21
