SkyView on Hay & The Rainbow Room
SkyView on Hay is one of the most elegant, romantic event facilities in
downtown Fayetteville. Built in 1964 by renowned architect G. Milton
Small, the building was created as BB&T's home office in Fayetteville.
It was purchased and restored to its mid-century modern glory and
opened in 2011 as SkyView on Hay, a highly sought-after venue for
weddings, parties, meetings, fundraisers and more! SkyView boasts
amazing views with natural light flooding the ballroom through giant
skylights and soaring walls of windows.
There are four distinct and versatile spaces on two floors. With more
than 14,000 square feet and four unique spaces, you're sure to find
the perfect place for your event. Whether you are looking for dinner
and dancing in the magnificent ballroom downstairs or a cozy, intimate setting in the
garden terrace, the seasoned event staff at SkyView on Hay can make sure your every
need is met.
SkyView's sister property, The Rainbow Room, is another stunning downtown event
option. Built in 1914, this flexible and inviting space has hosted hundreds of weddings,
corporate and military events, and parties of all kinds since it opened in 2002. The
Rainbow Room is an intimate space for smaller gatherings with an important difference.
Beyond the vintage swinging doors is a caterer's kitchen that can double as a buffet
area. Bring a DJ or use the in-house sound system to create the perfect mood for your
celebration. The staff is happy to assist in setup, cleanup, event design, planning and
coordination.
Krista Giles has been managing both event venues for the past 10 years. She earned an event management degree from UNC-
Greensboro and has been creating memorable events in SkyView and The Rainbow Room ever since. For a truly spectacular event,
