Page 24 2022 Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce Members & Visitors Guide About Punta Gorda Mural Tours Tour size is limited to a maximum of 12. This is to allow for social distancing during the tour. Masks are required at the beginning of the tour (while receiving audio equip- ment). Tour is two hours (9:30-11:30 a.m.) and will cover about two miles of walking. We will walk to a mural, stop to discuss it, and then walk to the next one. It is a leisurely walk. History information will be shared while walking as well. Cost is $25 (prepaid at Chamber to reserve spot). Tour will start and end at the Punta Gorda Chamber. Check-in is 9:15 a.m. Tour will visit at least 12 murals plus a few historical sites/buildings along the way. Professional audio touring equipment will be used for the tour. Each participant will receive a headset allowing for a better listening experience and allows for sharing of information while walking. Restroom is available about 20 minutes into the tour. Participants can stop the tour at any point if they need to. Each participant will receive a discount coupon for the Mural Society's 25th Anniversary Book (available at Copperfish Books, 212 W. Virginia Ave). If they have purchased the book, they can give the coupon tosomeone else to use. Private tours: These are possible if the date works for the Society. Must guar- antee a minimum of 10 (maximum of 12) and prepay. Contact Kelly to confirm date prior to taking reservation.
