The Quartzsite Historical Society is sponsoring the showing of the Doc- umentary "HI JOLLY" The Legendary Ottoman Camel Driver. This is a beautiful fi lm everyone has been wanting us to bring back. It will be shown Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the QIA (Quartzsite , 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the QIA (Quartzsite , 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the QIA Improvement Assoc.) Building, 235 E. Ironwood Street. The tickets will be $7.00 per person. We thought it was perfect timing, as it's the day af- ter the "Hi Jolly Daze Parade" on January 8th.We will be selling tickets at our booth following the Parade at Town Park. Call Lynn Stimson, 928- 916-4562 if you have any questions. Our next meeting is Wed January 12, 2022, 2:pm at the Quartzsite Library meeting room. The Historical Society will be going on a Field Trip January 19 to Queen Canyon and Skull Cave. We will meet at mile marker 99, Roadrunner Camping (La Paz Valley Rd) at 10:00 am to sign in. The Museum is under Limited Hours due to staffi ng issues: Volunteers will be there when the Gate is open. Docent volunteers wanted! If you'd like to volunteer please call Lynn 928-916-4562.
