The Venice Symphony
is also a leader in music
education. The Venice
Symphony Youth Orchestra
provides area students the
opportunity to rehearse and
perform in an ensemble led
by accomplished musician/
educators. Symphony in
the Schools, a partnership
with the Carnegie Hall Weill
Institute, brings symphonic
music and the concert
experience to thousands of
Sarasota County students.
The Venice Symphony also
offers a summer music
camp as well as library
programs and an online
Education Spotlight series.
Christine Kasten,
president and CEO, said
she looks forward to seeing
people back at the concerts
and at The Symphony's
social events, including the
inaugural Symphony Ball in
March. "There is nothing
like being in the concert
hall and watching a live
performance," Kasten said.
"The vision of The
Venice Symphony, 'Uniting
through music,' is especially
significant as the Symphony
is poised to serve more
people and reach greater
artistic heights than ever
before."
