I
t takes more than a favorable climate,
beaches and tourist attractions to create a
quality life for businesses, workers and all
residents in Southwest Florida.
Quality of life includes making
sure important needs such as food, housing,
education, healthcare, safe neighborhoods and
more are met.
While a growing economy can create a higher
standard of living, it also can provide funds
to help the less fortunate so they in turn can
contribute back to the community.
Organizations such as the Charlotte County
Community Foundation and others work to
make life better for everyone in the county.
The Community Foundation sees its mission
as " connecting people who care with causes that
matter." They advocate for philanthropy and
support other nonprofit organizations. They
respond to immediate community needs as
well as help build a sustainable structure for the
future.
By working with donors and nonprofits, the
foundation helps build stronger communities
and improve conditions to create the best
opportunities for everyone.
