2 BETA MU LINK Marion Rossman '49 was a registered professional engineer in 17 states, which provided travel over many areas. He's been retired for over 35 years and lives in Cuyahoga Hills, Ohio. He enjoys the success of his three children and five grandchildren. Email: mross54@aol.com Robert Billman '52 has been retired for over 25 years. He did part-time work for about 13 years and volunteered at Habitat for Humanity two days a week for about 15 years. In his 90s, he is living in a retirement community in Willoughby, Ohio. He enjoys seeing news about brothers from his class. Russ lives in Naples, Fla. Email: rstanle@comcast.net Court Moe '56 had a great college experience and had lots of fun with his pledge brothers. "We were a four-person pledge class and called ourselves 'e Mystic Four.' One was a non-drinker, so the other three of us became non-drinkers to support him. We kept that up our entire pledgeship." Court resides in Desert Hot Springs, Calif. Email: cvmoe3@gmail.com Dane Tubergen '67 is retired to Estero, Fla. His job is to play golf and go to the pool or beach. He also tutors at-risk students. ere is a large, enthusiastic Purdue community that has developed in the Estero area. Email: dtubergen@me.com Rick Schroeder '72 has a lot of good memories from the Beta house. His class, if his memory is correct, was made up of 30 brothers, and he thinks they have lost only three or four so far. Rick and his wife live in Westminster, Colo. Email: lucy0656@gmail.com Gary Burns '76 retired from Lyondell Basell Chemical Co in July of 2018. He has since been working with a charity, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which makes beds for kids in need. Gary and his wife are thankful to be in good health and live in Katy, Texas. John's memories will last him a lifetime and he's excited for his son to have the same amazing experience. He lives in Columbus, Ind. Email: lakecook59@gmail.com William DeCoste '86 has been married for over 35 years and has one son. He retired from Ford Engineering management. William is still racing cars and sailboats. He also stays active by long-distance swimming, playing volleyball, and working on his model trains. He lives in Novi, Mich. Email: whyknotlf11@yahoo.com ALUMNI NEWS Honoring Brothers Bill Elmore '75 and Bruce White '75 B ill Elmore '75 donated $25 million to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. As a result, the department was renamed to the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. On September 24, Purdue held events to thank Bill for his contributions, and he invited several of his Fraternity brothers to share in the celebration. A pitstop was made to the Chapter House to meet the undergraduates. e following day was a home football game, and during a timeout, Bill was escorted on the field and honored again in the stadium. In a similar fashion, Bruce White '75 was honored in re-naming of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management to the White Lodging - J. W. Marriott Jr. School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Bruce has made significant gis to that school as well as to the transformation of the historic Union Club Hotel on campus. What wonderful tributes to our brothers! Bill Elmore '75 featured on the jumbotron during timeout at a home game.
