can do in pulling a show together." She ended up with a cast of nearly two dozen, many of them favorites on other area stages, all bringing diverse backgrounds and a love of musical theater to the project: Henry Aggus was most recently seen as Crutchie in the Arkansas Public Theatre production of "Newsies" and as Costard in the University of Arkansas' "Love's Labour's Lost." "I hope audiences are able to sing a few of these songs on their way out the door and also want to see more musicals after this one!" Blakeley Knox has been in "Mamma Mia," "Freaky Friday" and "Little Women" for Pilot Arts. "Theater's back," she says. "Covid may have put all of us in hiding for awhile, but performances are back. There's something so amazing to get onstage and perform with one another while allowing the audience to forget everything else going on in the world just for a bit." Sarah Mouritsen Riedmueller was Sally Bowles in "Cabaret" and has played many other roles on the APT stage. "Since we have a baby on the way, I figured this would be my last opportunity to be on stage for quite some time and didn't want to miss out on the fun," she says. Caity Church has also been in many APT roles, including Janet in "The Rocky Horror Show" and Grace Farrell in "Annie" and was Donna Sheridan in "Mamma Mia" at Pilot Arts. "Kailey has put together a 'living playbill,' kind of like the living wax museum concept, where cast members will share images and fun facts about the shows that our songs are from," she says. "So the VIP ticketholders will leave with a little more Broadway knowledge. These songs, also, are meant to show cultural diversity and poignant moments of humanity. It's uplifting, relatable, and beautiful. I'm excited to share it!" Edward Mountz most recently appeared in "Avenue Q" at APT and plans to audition for "Something Rotten!" there. He auditioned for All Together Now! by singing "This Is the Moment" from "Jekyll and Hyde" and will sing that song in the production. "I have a burning passion for theater and performing and will participate whenever given the opportunity," he says. "I hope the audience comes out knowing more than what they knew when they went in. Also I hope we are able to kindle a passion for theater for those who might be interested." Justin Stewart was on the APT stage as Judas in "Jesus Christ Superstar," Javert in "Les Miserables" and Barack in "Hillary and Clinton." While he says he wanted to "knock the dust off of my vocal chords" in All Together Now!, his most recent project was a short film called "And The Winner Is." The film won Best National Short Film in the Arkansas Minority Film and Arts Association Film Festival, Judges Special Selection in the inaugural Rogers Short Film Festival, was a finalist in the Paris International Short Film Festival, recently was featured in the Twin Cities Black Film Festival and will be featured in the Fayetteville Film Festival Nov. 11-13. Aaron Young was Davey in APT's production of "Newsies" and Gabe in "Next to Normal" at 214 S. Main St. in Springdale. "I will be singing 'Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat' from 'Guys and Dolls,' as well as being featured in 'A New World,' 'Take a Chance on Me' and others," he says. "I hope those in the audience will leave this show with a newfound appreciation for musical theater and its history!" NOV. 30-DEC. 5 | 8 SHOWS!
