Jon started off his career in advertising and earned many awards throughout his career, including Clio, ANDYS, and ADDY. He also participated in e Rainbow Division of the National Guard in New York City. He was co-writer of e Dream Team, Eddie, Opportunity Knocks, as well as "script doctor" for an abundance of other movies. Jon enjoyed mentoring young writers. Jon attended Gettysburg College where he enjoyed playing intramural football, boxing, and was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, which stayed with him his entire life. Jon is survived by his wife, Deborah, his daughter, two grandchildren, his sisters, and countless nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues who all claim that Jon was the "best friend they ever had." Robert Zander "Bob" Wagner '61 entered Chapter Eternal on March 28, 2021, in Poquoson, Va. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1961 and served in the Vietnam War. He served for 21 years as a navigator and F-111 weapons system officer and retired in 1982 with the rank of major. He was recognized for his service and received many awards, including Air Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and Distinguished Flying Cross. Bob was devoted to his community and was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church and Poquoson Lions Club. He also supported charitable groups, including the armed forces, Gettysburg College students and alumni, and wildlife conservation. Bob enjoyed fishing, volunteering, traveling, and attending bible study groups. Bob is survived by his wife of 39 years, Bobbie, three children, a grandson, and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
