SEPTEMBER 29 - OCTOBER 5, 2021 UCW 15 Best of Fayetteville Best Food Truck R Burger 814 Lakespur Drive 910-527-1467 or www.facebook.com/rburgertruck R Burger, Fayetteville's premier high-quality mobile food vendor, has only been in service for six years. But it comes as no surprise that it's already the best food truck in town. With 17 years of experience between the two of them, owners Rob and Mary Russell knew what they were doing when they decided to start a business that uses fresh beef — ground daily — and original hamburger recipes that will make your mouth water. R Burger also makes it a point to source its fresh beef and buns locally. R Burger's menu includes offerings like the Southern Burger, made with homemade pimento cheese, grilled onion and mustard; the Carolina Burger, with chili, slaw, onion and mustard; and the Jalapeño Colby Jack Burger, which is pretty self-explanatory. There are also specialty hot dogs, fresh-cut fries and brat patties. Want something more experimental? You can always build your own burger or hot dog. R Burger has served at places like Bright Light Brewing Company, Dirtbag Ales and Westwood Shopping Center, among other locations, so it's not hard to spot them. "We always strive to achieve R motto of 'Love people. Serve them tasty food,' the owners said. We make R friends happy! We R always grateful for R loyal following." Best Coffee House The Coffee Scene 450 Hay St. and 3838 Morganton Road 910-568-3758 and 910-864-7948 or www.thecoffeesceneinc.com The Coffee Scene has been a popular Fayetteville spot since 1996. From col- lege students and business meetings to musicians and families, it is a welcom- ing place for the community. Over the years The Coffee Scene has expanded, opening a kiosk in Womack Army Medical Center on Fort Bragg, a location in Cameron, and most recently in The Prince Charles in downtown Fayetteville. Owners Kiki Manis, Peter Manis and Victoria Stout are proud of the business and culture they have created. Together, they understand that good coffee is best paired with good company — along with gelato, baklava and excellent cus- tomer service. Special events entertain and entice customers. Sundays are poetry nights, Monday nights feature acoustic music and Tuesdays and Saturdays offer buy one, get one free gelato. You should make the scene at The Coffee Scene. 1916 Skibo Rd.
